I used a smoked paprika and added 1/2 tsp. of chipotle chili powder. It was great! For once, a meal that isn't bland!

I made this for diner tonight, so yummy. Even my VERY picky five year old liked it. Definitely adding this to my recipe box to help me stay on track.

How is this a pure protein recipe? with tomatoes and cream cheese used?

    1.  It stated that it is a protein and vegetable dish

  5.  Thanks for your fabulous site. You've made 'Dukanning' that much easier for me!

I'm going to use this Paprika chicken recipe but will add some mushrooms and dill to make a Chicken Stroganoff. That'll work, won't it?

  6.  LUVIT!!! Thanx so much for your site it's helping me soooo much on my journey to reaching my goal weight.

I'm married to a Hungarian and make the real chicken paprika all the time. It is compatible with Dukan protein and veggie.

     4 chicken breasts
    large onion sliced or chopped
    1 green pepper sliced
2 TB Hungarian paprika (available in red tins in most large grocery stores, may be in gourmet or import section)
    3/4 C chicken stock
1/4 pint fat free souir cream
salt to taste (no pepper with paprika)

Saute meat and onions. Add paprika, then stock. Add peppers. Simmer 1/2 hr. until chicken is done. Remove meat. Blend in sour cream. Replace chicken and heat through.

    1.  Thanks for that. It sounds delicious!

  9.  Hi I'm having a problem finding non fat fromage frais, but noticed you used extra light cream cheese. Is it the same thing?

    1.  If you cannot find some low fat fromage frais, you can mix some low fat cottage cheese with some low fat yoghurt to get a smooth but not too runny texture.
