OK now its frustrating, come on why can't I be under in the 68s? Huh huh body? My day was perfect yesterday AND I did ONE HOUR of high intensity exercise, there was nothing else I could have done! Totally at a loss why there is no loss :( Maybe I should move on to consolidation and stabilise what I have lost? Don't know what to do today, do I pure protein it or go veg? ahh

Update: I've decided to start the consolidation phase today rather than give up completely. I feel like my body has gone into starvation mode, thinking it should be conserving energy, so I'm hoping by giving is a new range of foods it may relax and go back to loosing weight. fingers crossed!

Day 41 Saturday 31st July

scales Weight: 69kg
Food Phase: diet ended
Entry

Today I came down with appendicitis and I have had it removed over the week end. It has been the worst experience of my life and I will be leaving the Diet here.  Thanks for your support but my full recovery will take about 6 weeks and I wont be able to do any exercise for at least 2 weeks. Hopefully at the end of it all I wont have gained everything back.

The details:

Well I've Had and eventful last 4 days!
Friday I started having stomach pains. Saturday they got unbearable and we went to Robina emergency, waited 4 hours in a chair while vomiting and in the worst pain of my life, spent an hour in bed until they gave me pain relief, a few needles and lots of poking later it's suspected appendicitis. we drove to southport for a midnight ultrasound, (so painful on an inflamed appendix),they couldn't see my appendix so they ruled out other causes, then got a ride in an ambulance back to Robina at 1am, admitted and spent the night in hospital. Sunday morning I went in to surgery - they did keyhole surgery and removed my dodgy appendix - don't remember much about that, woke up feeling pretty good, all sickness gone  ..., had dinner and some visitors. Sunday night was a different story, a worser pain of my life (10/10) for most of the night and Monday caused by the gas they used to expand my belly during the operation OUCH. Tuesday feeling more human but very slow and sore at home and its hard to move around. I have 3 new scars from my episode and lots of crappy hospital stories! Dave and my family were amazing made it much easier for me to recover, davedidn't even faint with the blood. well that's my life update, and its an adventure I would have rather not happened! <Insert sympathy here> haha

Update: 10th August

A week on from the surgery and I am feeling much better, I lost about 1 1/2 kg from being in hospital and being nil by mouth for 2 days. My current weight is fluctuating between 67.5kg - 68.4kg. Today I did a pure protein day to help stop gaining any weight back as I cannot exercise beyond a shuffle around the house for another few weeks. I can't wait to get back into my daily exercise routine! < yes I can't believe I said that either!

I'll give my body another week healing and of normal food then I'll ease back into the diet and get to the magic 65kg. Thanks everyone for your encouragement, it means a lot!

I have been getting a few comments about how much weight I have lost, people are noticing which is nice!

UPDATE: I have posted some photos of my journey here, scroll down to the bottom.
